Senior Front-End Engineer (React Native)

What We're Looking For

 

You will be in charge of our React Native App, which is the main way our drivers interact with ONRAMP. By working closely with Product and Engineering teams, you’ll have the opportunity to directly impact truckers’ daily experience making financial transactions. 

Responsibilities Responsibilities

  • Own our front-end application architecture and make user-facing decisions that have a direct impact on our business

  • Ensure our customers have a delightful and seamless experience when using our products

  • Work as part of a small team, in close collaboration with the product and backend team

  • Establish and sustain measured standard of performance, testability and maintainability for the app

  • Establish and promote team practices and rituals - planning, support triage and retrospectives

  • Work independently and produce high-quality, maintainable code using industry standard engineering techniques (CI/CD, Agile, version control, etc.)

Qualifications Qualifications

  • Have a deep understanding of Javascript, React and related APIs and SDKs

  • Have experience with React Native and can ship a native app from start to finish

  • Have experience consuming data layer using Apollo Client or similar

  • Have implemented automated testing and have used related tooling

  • Have a business-driven approach to software development - you make decisions based on the outcomes that are most valuable to our customers

  • Have bias toward action

  • Have strong communication skills
